Local media and online licensing.
This page describes what the current applications and licensing service handle. It does not substitute for seller terms that must be completed before sales open.
Camera video, microphones and recordings
Camera video, listening audio and talkback travel between your devices on the local network. DroidSec does not send those streams to its licensing service or a cloud media relay. Windows recordings are saved to the folder you choose. Direct Monitor connections stay on the LAN.
Recordings are ordinary media files and are not encrypted by DroidSec. Choose their folder and access permissions accordingly. Protected recordings are retained until you delete them.
Information stored on your devices
The apps retain pairing credentials, hub certificate trust, preferences, license caches and diagnostic logs. Windows protects saved credentials for the current Windows account; Android uses its app-private identity and Keystore. Camera/Monitor permissions and device-level Android settings remain under your control.
Phone diagnostic events can upload through the authenticated local connection to your Windows hub. This is local diagnostic history, not a public cloud log service.
Licensing and purchase information
The online licensing service stores purchase references, license and system identifiers, registered Android devices, device names and stable app-device/public-key identifiers, activation/recovery credentials in protected forms, and purchase email addresses. It handles payment fulfillment, fraud/replay protection, license refresh and device replacement. It does not receive camera frames, microphone content or recordings.
Purchase recovery sends an expiring, one-use link to the checkout email address. Entering an email address alone does not restore a license. Refund or revocation information from the payment provider can change an online-refreshed plan; cached offline licenses cannot receive such updates while disconnected.
Service providers and website requests
Cloudflare hosts this website, the licensing API, database and downloadable releases. Its infrastructure processes network requests, including connection information such as IP addresses. Paddle is the planned payment provider; when checkout is enabled, its checkout receives payment and customer information. Resend is the planned sender for purchase and recovery email.
The website does not load an advertising or analytics script. Paddle's script is loaded only on an enabled checkout page. Providers operate under their own terms and privacy information: Cloudflare, Paddle, and Resend.
Browser credentials
A checkout receipt token is removed from the page address before Paddle loads and kept in session storage for that browser tab's payment checks. It cannot enroll cameras or refresh an activated license. Activation codes can be displayed after verified payment or recovery; they should be kept private. Recovery tokens are removed from the address and used only after your explicit choice to restore here or open the Android app.
App refresh credentials returned during browser recovery are not persisted by the website. Native applications protect their own refresh credentials locally.

Seller identity, contact details and complete purchase/license/refund policies have not been invented for this site. Those details must be supplied before future sales open.
